Captain Jay worked with his father the late J.P. on
the Charter Boat Gay Jay at the age of 12 deckhanding during the
summers of high school and college. His career as a licensed
charter boat captain began in 1974 when he purchased his first boat
the Silver Dollar, as the business grew Jay and his father J.P.
built the Silver Dollar I a 50 foot fiberglass sports
fisherman.
In 1997 Jay christened his third boat the Silver Dollar II a
50 foot Catamaran which was custom built and featured in an article
in the Sun Herald "Boat takes fishing to new depths." In
December 2007 Capt. Jay was interviewed by the USA Today in an
article "Charter boat industry tries to reel back fishers." Jay has
also been featured in the MS. Press Association. The Clarion-Ledger,
The Commercial Appeal in Memphis TN, The Meridian Star, over 15
times in The Sun Herald and other media sources. You may have
caught articles, quotes or interviews containing Captain Jay in,
Salt Water Sportsman Magazine and Mississippi Outdoors
Magazine. Jay is a Coast Guard Licensed Captain for over 35 years, a
graduate of Biloxi High School, and attended the University of Southern Mississippi.

Captain of the Silver Dollar II. One of the most
experienced captains with
over 45 years of experience chartering on the MS coast. Born and
raised in the charter fishing business he has passed down his
knowledge to another generation of Trochesset's. He is considered by
most in the Charter
industry by bringing the first and best Custom Build Catamarans to
the area versus the solid hull boats introducing a smoother rides.

Captain Dustin with over 25 years fishing experience
grew up deckhanding on his grandfathers charter boat. Dustin has
captioned his own boat and several other types and sizes of boats
for 12 years.Featured on "Gulf South Outdoors" with the Barry Foster
show "How to catch Cobia ( lemon fish or ling). Dustin was also a
member of the winning team of Gorenflos 1999 Cobia Tournament and
runner up in 1998, 2000 and 2002. Dustin also finished second in
the Tuna division of the ninth annual Ms. Gulf Coast Billfish
Classic.
A Biloxi High graduate, Dustin attended Ms. Gulf Coast Community
College and LSU, he is also a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Charter Boat
Captain.

Brandon Trochesset:
Captain Brandon with more than 20 years
in the charter fishing industry grew up deckhanding the gulf waters
with his grandfather and father. In 1995 Brandon earned his U.S.
Coast Guard Captain license. Brandon was the captain of the Silver
Dollar I from 1997 to 2000.
A Biloxi High graduate, Brandon played baseball for Ms. Gulf Coast
Jr. College (perk campus) and William Carey College. Brandon,
Dustin, and Jay were featured in The Sun Herald "Trochesset sets
example for sons". Brandon the father of three sons, Maddux, Kaden,
and Fisher look forward to a fourth generation of fishermen.
